The Gutiérrez Colosía family has a long winemaking tradition in the ageing of Sherry wines. On the banks of the Guadalete river, this winery, built in 1838, was purchased by the family at the beginning of the 20th century. Its characteristic structure of the area known as "nave cathedral", expose the wines to the unique influence of the winds and temperatures that the region enjoys as they are the only ones directly facing the Guadalete river.
